For those who know me a little, you know that I love chocolate. Not just eating it, seeing it, or smelling it, but basically, inhaling the essence of it from its past to its present. I have been wanting to start a blog for a while as a way to unload all the knowledge I have accumulated over this year alone. But lets start at the beginning! After a year of scratching the surface of chocolate and the industry, I want to learn more and do more with this knowledge.
I started working as a Chocolate Tour guide for Tasty Tours Toronto (Toronto's Ultimate Chocolate Tour), helped to develop the T.O.ffle- Toronto's first truffle, attending SOMA's Secret Chocolate Tasting at their factory location in Roncesvalles, interning at Chocosol, eating all sorts of new bean to bar chocolate bars, and finally organizing my first chocolate tastings!
In 2018, I will be embarking on a South America adventure to see Cacao first hand and to document more learning and build relationships with those involved in the chocolate industry. Cacao is a magical fruit. So, I will keep this short, as I don't even know where to begin! Hope to share and eat chocolate with you soon!
